BAPCA is an organisation for all people interested in the person-centered approach, whether they are counsellors, teachers, or whatever field they work in. The organisation was formed in 1989 and has been instrumental in developing the person-centered approach in both the UK and abroad.
BAPCA is a membership organisation open to all, whether counsellors or not. Members recieve the in-house magazine ‘person-centered quarterly’, as well as the international journal ‘Person-centered and experiential psychotherapies‘. BAPCA also organises a conference every two years, open to all to attend, with members being entitled to a discounted rate.
BAPCA support a number of local groups throughout the country, where anyone, BAPCA member or not, can go and have (hopefully) a person-centered experience. Coventry person-centered group is just one of these events.
